2013 is a momentous and historic year for Gaelchultúr, and there’s plenty of information in this month’s edition of Nuachtlitir Ghaelchultúir about new developments in the company, including its newly acquired status as a third-level institution.

Gaelchultúr launches Coláiste na hÉireann and its first postgraduate course

A blended learning approach, combining e-learning and traditional classroom teaching, will be used in the Dioplóma Iarchéime san Aistriúchán course, the first programme being offered by Gaelchultúr’s new third-level college, Coláiste na hÉireann.

Gaelchultúr has plenty of courses available this autumn and we’re confident that we’ve got one that suits you. We have evening classes at various levels, classes for those who want to wow the Irish language interview panel in Hibernia College and an intensive grammar course for those of you out there who want to perfect their Irish language writing skills.

The Certificate in Professional Irish a great success

Nineteen employees from a range of state bodies were awarded the Certificate in Professional Irish in the past few months, and Gaelchultúr expects an even higher demand for the autumn programme as a course at level 5 will be offered for the first time, from the end of September.

Third edition of Gaelchultúr’s bestselling grammar now available

Gaelchultúr has sold over 10,000 copies of its grammar book, Gramadach gan Stró!, since it was first published five years ago and a new expanded edition is now available.

Réalta an Ranga and Póstaer Pearsan: innovative new learning resources from Gaelchultúr

A brand new ClubLeabhar.com series began last week and we’ll be focusing on four different works as our Book of the Month between now and December 2013. From short stories and novels, to humour and horror, we have a compelling mixture of books to keep our members reading and discussing from now until Christmas!
