Online summer courses for primary school teachers

Gaelchultúr will be offering six different online courses for primary school teachers this summer. There will be four new courses, in addition to the two that were available last year.

Intensive Preparatory Course in Written Irish

Many people who speak fluent Irish have never had an opportunity to learn the grammar of the language properly or to add to their writing skills. Gaelchultúr is running an intensive preparatory course in written Irish (‘Dianchúrsa Ullmhúcháin i gCruinneas na Gaeilge’) twice this year to help address this problem.

Irish language evening classes this autumn

Are you interested in improving your Irish? You’ll have a great opportunity to do just that as Gaelchultúr’s evening classes (Course A) will be starting again this autumn in Dublin and in 15 other locations around the country.

MA in Applied Irish le DIT

New employment opportunities have emerged in recent years for graduates who have high-level language skills in Irish, in particular since the passing into law of the Official Languages Act 2003 and the recognition of Irish as an official working language of the European Union.

Sean-nós singing and dancing: Temple Bar, Friday, 9th July 2010

As part of The Summer Sensational festival this year, Gaelchultúr is organising two sean-nós singing and dancing workshops in The Culture Box in Temple Bar.
