Newsletter #40: September 2017

Link of the month: Beo ar Éigean

Are you looking for something new to listen to on the commute, when you’re running or while you’re making the dinner? If you are, you might be interested in Beo ar Éigean, a brand new Irish language podcast.

Beo ar Éigean is presented by Siún Ní Dhuinn, Áine Ní Bhreisleáin and Sinéad Ní Uallacháin, three intelligent, funny and bold women, each with her own unique style.

The podcasts are short and sweet (about 20 minutes on average) and at times it feels like you’re eavesdropping on a conversation between friends. So far, death, Club an Chonartha, FOMO and literature have been among the topics discussed, and dispersed throughout the podcasts are little gems of random stories that make the listener laugh out loud.

A new episode appears each Wednesday and since a number of episodes are already available, you can binge listen until the next one is published!

Beo ar Éigean is an RTÉ podcast and it’s available at rte.ie/gaeilge, on iTunes and on the most popular podcast platforms.
