Link of the month: The New English-Irish Dictionary’s video tutorials

If you speak or write Irish regularly, chances are you’ve used the New English-Irish Dictionary. But, are you using this valuable tool in the most effective way?

The dictionary’s team have put together several videos to help us better understand the dictionary’s functions. The videos are available in both English and Irish, and they’re short but effective.

There are tips in the videos about the sound files on the site and about how users can access information on grammar. In addition to that, there’s advice on how to do a reverse search on terms.

Those working on the dictionary always welcome feedback from the public. So, if you’d like to share opinions and ideas with them or require further information about the dictionary, you can contact them on aiseolas@focloir.ie.
