The Certificate in Professional Irish course going from strength to strength

Last year was another excellent twelve months for the Certificate in Professional Irish, Gaelchultúr’s course for public sector employees interested in improving their spoken Irish skills. The course, which is recognised by QQI, celebrated five years in existence and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD was one of several hundred students to be awarded the certificate during the year.

Postgraduate Diploma in Translation: Interviews with former students

Bord na Gaeilge UCD’s summer school to take place again this year

Because its inaugural summer school last year was such a success, Bord na Gaeilge UCD has decided to run Tionól Gaeilge again this year. This school, which will again be organised by the Bord in conjunction with Gaelchultúr, will take place on the Belfield campus at the beginning of July and it will again feature a mixture of language classes, lectures and social events.
