Keep your brain active this spring!

Research conducted in Canada several years ago showed that speaking two or more languages on a regular basis can have a positive effect on the brain. Why don’t you give your brain a workout this spring by attending one of Gaelchultúr’s Irish language evening classes!

Minister Dinny McGinley to launch the Certificate in Professional Irish

Tomorrow (Tuesday, 29 January), Junior Minister for Gaeltacht Affairs, Dinny McGinley, will launch Gaelchultúr’s new courses for public sector employees, Certificate in Professional Irish, at an event to be held in the company’s new premises in Dublin city centre.

Over 250 people have now attended Gaelchultúr’s Intensive Course in Written Irish

Gaelchultúr’s Intensive Preparatory Course in Written Irish has been a great success since it was first offered in the summer of 2010. And because the material used in the programme is available online, Irish speakers from all corners of the globe have an opportunity to take the course.

Irish language events: Imbolc 2013

The Imbolc conference will be held on 16 February 2013 in the Ionad Cultúrtha (cultural centre) in Baile Bhuirne in west Cork. This is the fourth year of the event and speakers will include Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Bernard Dunne and Kevin Scannell.
